A third-generation real estate developer, I was raised in the commercial real estate world. Charles Taylor Senior, my grandfather, owned commercial real estate from Tampa, Florida to Seattle, Washington with holdings that included investment in GSA leases, office parks, and retail properties like Hooter’s. My Father helped revitalize downtown areas and had a knack for repurposing beautiful old architecture. His motto was Maintenance is Preservation. I started in the business maintaining his properties and ensuring those assets were produced sustainably; it was my job I to ensure that motto was true for all our properties. I received my real estate license at the age of 20 and put generations of knowledge to work at Grubb & Ellis, a national brokerage firm representing clients like United States Postal Service, and various REITs and got an introduction to the corporate world through my involvement with ICSC. In 2011, I started The Foundation Company to offer corporate enterprise-level strategy and structure to everyone interested in investing in real estate. I’m here to guide you through the process, ensure that you mitigate your risk, get you the best returns, expose you to opportunities you never thought possible, and create a life you dreamed about.
